Current Volunteer Needs -- PLEASE NOTE-- All of these are UNPAID VOLUNTEER positions.
The AACA is always looking for volunteers for a variety of tasks. We are looking for a committment of 1 to 2 hours a week for 3 to 4 months unless otherwise noted. Knowledge of other languages is often helpful but not necessary unless noted.

The AACA currently has the following needs:
Computer Lab Assistant - Resume Development
Help immigrant adults write their resumes.
Begin the week of Feb. 8, 2010
Tuesdays or Thursdays between 1 and 3:30 PM or Mondays anytime between 1 and 5 PM
Prefer working professional with knowledge of good resumes.

Graphic Designers:
Design graphics for the Sampan. Ability to read Chinese a plus. Volunteers can work from home. Flexible schedule.
Conversation Group Leaders:
Help facilitate a casual conversation group with various ESOL students.
Thursdays, 10:30 - Noon, Ongoing year round with some breaks.
